Now, in case the text on this GIF is too small to read for you, it says:
Homer: Lisa, I can't find my phone!
Lisa: You're texting on it.
Homer: *texts that infamous GIF of him walking backwards into the bush*
Now, I'm not sure if this is a real clip from an episode or it's just been edited (by someone VERY talented) however the musicians in the background indicate to me that it's from a real episode (presumably season 30, however, here in the UK the newer episodes take MONTHS to be shown on TV)
In my opinion, this GIF is very cringy, and I first came across it while looking for simpsonwave GIFS. I think that lately, the Simpsons has been tailor-made just for the younger generation (more specifically BuzzFeed millennials) with Hank Azaria resigning from the Apu voice due to it being politically incorrect (God, I HATE that phrase) and implementing computers, mobile phones, and tablets. Now in the early 2000s, the Simpsons did talk about things like the Internet, computers, cellphones, but those things were all invented in the 90s and they provided a good 'aesthetic' for Simpsonwave GIFS. But this doesn't give any aesthetic. It's more of a "HAHA! Old people cant use technology!! LMAOOO!!" thing. I also have an example of the Simpsons being cringy. Season 29, I think it was episode 15? Anyway, Bart controls Homer with an ancient Chinese book, Bart forces him to go to TunnelCraft Con. (which is a blatant copy of Minecraft). And I think it was the cringiest episode ever. Anyway, little rant over, go back to your day now.
